General Job Description
You will work within an eastern U.S. sales territory of RIAs and approved Broker/Dealer registered representatives. You will research and prospect financial advisors who fit Longboard’s ideal customer profile. You will lead these financial advisors through our sales process via introductory calls, LinkedIn outreach and engagement, Zoom meetings, and conversations with our Portfolio Managers and the Managing Director/Head of Longboard’s Private Solutions Group.
Key Responsibilities
You are not inheriting existing accounts – you are 100% focused on the development of new Longboard Asset Management client relationships and converting those relationships into revenue-producing accounts and increasing overall gross sales.
You will be responsible for prospecting and developing new Longboard Asset Management relationships with registered investment advisors and independent broker dealers.
Workflow primarily consists of prospecting which includes cold calling, emails, Zoom, and/or in-person meetings, LinkedIn, and networking.
All Sales activities will be recorded in Salesforce, with pipeline management in Monday.com.
You will represent Longboard and yourself with the highest standards of excellence at all times.

Required and Preferred Prior Years of Experience, Training, & Education:
Minimum 3+ years of experience selling alternative mutual funds in the following categories: systematic trend, macro, trend following, or long/short equity (Required)
Experience with Salesforce, Morningstar, Sales Navigator, MS Office, and Slack or Teams (Required)
Experience with Zoom, Hubspot, Portfolio Visualizer, YCharts, Monday.com (Preferred)
