Investment Associate (Licensed) - Hybrid Wholesaler

 

General Job Description

This individual will reach out to financial advisors who resemble Longboard’s ideal customer profile.

You will own this first stage in the Sales cycle by identifying these financial advisors via phone conversations and email correspondence and then providing anyone who is a potential lead to the Salesperson you are working with.

You will schedule introductory calls/Zoom meetings for the potential leads and the Salesperson.

This is expected to be a position with upward potential depending on performance and execution of the entire company.

 

Required & Preferred Characteristics, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • You possess a series 65 license or series 6 and 63 licenses

  • You are coachable and receptive to coaching and feedback

  • You are energetic and truly enjoy speaking with people

  • Telemarketing/Fundraising/other Cold Calling experience preferred

  • You are excited to get in on the ground floor and ‘move the needle’

  • You want to gain Sales and/or Financial Services experience

 

Job Expectations

  • You will log 50 dials/day. Emails or other touchpoints (social media if archived) are on top of this number of dials.

  • You will prospect financial advisors via phone, email, and, as long as messages do not directly pertain to the Fund(s) and/or investments, can utilize direct messages within LinkedIn and Twitter.

  • You will ask the Longboard team members for resources you believe will help.

  • You will honestly and accurately record all sales activities in Salesforce.

  • You will be a performance pace setter in terms of sales activity and work ethic.

  • You will represent Longboard and yourself with the highest standards of professionalism and excellence at all times.

  • You will deliver results without excuses and help Longboard improve.
